I love this time of year! I especially love all the different recipes that only get made this time of year. I made one of these recipes. Not that it couldn’t be made all year but for some reason I only make it in December. It is the yummy cinnamon butter. They make a nice little gift. I had fun decorating the jars with our designer papers, ribbons and punches.
I used a 2″ circle punch and the designer paper to put on the lid. I attached it with glue dots. I also used the glue dots to attach the Sprig punch pieces. I only used two punched out sprigs but you can certainly do more. The ribbon bow and the ribbon around the lid were also attached with glue dots.
The recipe for the cinnamon butter is 2 sticks of butter at room temperature, 1/4 cup of honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. I used 4oz mason jars and estimated one stick of butter per jar. I did have some leftover for my family. It makes yummy toast in the morning. Check out the supplies used for this cute jars of yummy goodness below.
