I participated in a demonstrator swap using supplies from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog. When I need to create a card, I sometimes start by scrolling through Pinterest looking at layouts or color combinations. This time I pulled out the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper and looked at all the patterns on the different papers. There is beautiful copper foil on some of the patterns. The lined pattern jumped out to me for this card.
The Christmas Gleaming stamp set has this beautiful holly stamp. Mossy Meadow and Real Red Blends were used for coloring the holly. I did fussy cut them out but they are pretty easy to cut with the paper snips. Remember to move the cardstock not the snips when fussy cutting. The holly and sentiment are on dimensionals.
Shimmery Crystal Effects helps to bring out the berries on the holly. It has just a light sparkle which is perfect for this card.
Let’s not forget about the inside of the card. Another stamped holly and the sentiment finishes this card off nicely.
