I am currently in Florida with my Dad while he is in hospice care. I was going through stamping withdrawal being away from all my supplies at home in Connecticut so I had supplies sent to Florida. One of those items was the Color Your Season bundle. Here are the cards I made one night with this limited time set.
I did do some fussy cutting for the flowers. The flowers were colored in with both packages of watercolor pencils. Color in the center of the petals and use the blender pen to pull the color out to the rest of the petal. the color will get lighter as you pull out the color giving the petals a shaded effect.
I don’t have my Big Shot with me in Florida so it was a challenge for the background of the cards. I normally use an embossing folder for a little background detail. This time I used the designer paper layered with a coordinating cardstock for interest.
It always a nice idea to stamp the bottom left corner or the back flap of the envelope. It’s a hint of what’s inside.
